       Hello Folks!

Thank you for visiting this web page. I am Alaina Faith Malcolm, your Junior Miss Lumbee 2011-2012. I am the twelve year old daughter of Joshua & Meloria Malcolm of Pembroke, NC and I have two brothers (Forrest & Rivers) that I love tremendously. I am grateful for the opportunity to represent my people once again as a Lumbee Ambassador.

Over the next few months, I will travel the state and possibly the nation representing our community to many who have never been to Robeson County to meet our wonderful people. While traveling, you should know I will do my very best to let folks know about all the positive things in our community and I encourage each of you to do the same.

In addition to participating in native events and powwows during my reign, I also hope to share my passion for dance, specifically rhythm tap. It is one of my personal goals to inspire youth to seek within themselves what they are passionate about. Through my dance routines, I know others will recognize that they too have special talents that can be shared with those around them. If I motivate just one young person to become their very best – then my reign as your Junior Miss Lumbee will have been a successful one.
